Castle Banks Cottage is a period house, close to the 11th century castle and a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, pubs and buses. The train station is about eight minutes walk away The large bedsitting room has lovely views over to the River Ouse and the property's pretty garden where visitors may like to have breakfast. It has a very comfortable King-size bed, plenty of cupboard space, bed linen and towels, a good size table, television, radio, hair dryer, ironing facilities and heated folding clothes dryer. There is a private bathroom and toilet. The small kitchen is well-equipped with two ceramic hobs, combi microwave/oven, good size fridge, washing machine, coffee percolator and toaster, with glass, china, cutlery and cooking equipment provided. Visitors like to sit here for a morning coffee and watch the birds in the sunny garden. French, Italian and some German spoken. |
